With 8 outstanding nominations for this prestigious award, Immanuel’s Hannah Petty has been voted by the IGSSA Sports Coordinators as the 2015 IGSSA Sportsperson of the Year.

Hannah has had a remarkable 12 months of competition in her sport of Netball, culminating in her being selected for Australia’s Under 19 Netball squad. Hannah has participated strongly in IGSSA sport, being part of the Immanuel A grade IGSSA shield champions in each of the years she was in the team. Hannah beat a strong field of nominations, in a very close count.

Other nominations in 2015 were: Abbey Flight (Pembroke – Soccer), Krista Ceplite (St Peters – Swimming), Mary Wilson Scotch – Netball), Michaela Spano (Seymour – Hockey), Tarnie Shinnick (Walford – Netball), Georgie Bradley (Westminster – Softball/Netball/Athletics), Hannah Lehmann (Wilderness – Basketball).
